Standard Contactless Timer ( Credit / Debit Card & Smartphone Payment Apps Accepted )
The Standard Contactless Timer is the first in a range of contactless payment timers to be introduced to the public.
With no need to collect cash, the Standard Contactless Timer allows payment to be made via debit or credit card, as well as Apple, Android, or Samsung Pay. Programmable Smart Payment Cards can also be issued if desired to provide prepaid or free-vend sessions.
The Standard Contactless Timer is an accumulative timer where each additional contactless payment will add the programmed time to any time remaining. It is fitted with a digital display to show the remaining credit. Time per payment can be set in either minutes or seconds with a range from 1 to 127. The case is made from powder coated zintec steel and it has a power consumption of approximately 10W (at 230V AC).
The contactless card reader requires either a mobile phone signal or an ethernet connection. The payment system is managed by Nayax Ltd, a multinational provider of financial services. There is a monthly fee of £10.00 per month payable direct to Nayax Ltd. This covers SIM, data usage, updates, support and 24/7 access to the Nayax DCS portal for reports, machine management and use of Nayax APP's for consumer promotions and engagements. There is also a fee of 2.95% per transaction. All transaction payments are paid directly in to the operator's bank account by Nayax Ltd on a monthly basis, less all fees.
Match Play
Adding an optional key-operated over-ride switch converts the basic Standard Contactless Timer to a Match Play Standard Contactless Timer. This facility allows the output to be turned on permanently, which is useful for match tournaments on tennis courts and similar facilities, or for ease of servicing equipment.
Multiple Pricing
The multiple pricing option allows up to four different pricing structures to be created for one piece of equipment. For example you could have £2.00 = 3 mins; £3.50 = 6 mins; £4.00 = 9 mins and £5.00 = 12 mins.
Output Load Option
Depending on the option selected, loads of up to 12kVA can be switched directly by the timer. A voltage free version is also available, used to switch a load operating from any voltage, not just mains operated equipment.
1kVA (3A resistive) typically allows switching of equipment equivalent to five 100W incandescent or two 100W fluorescent lamps
7kVA (30A resistive) typically allows switching of equipment equivalent to one 7kW shower, or 12 fluorescent lamps.
12 kVA (50A resistive) typically allows switching of equipment equivalent to one 10kW shower or 16 fluorescent lamps
Voltage free can be used to switch a load operating from any voltage
Low voltage free can be used to switch a low current load (such as a mobile phone charger) operating from any voltage
Pre-time Option
Start Delay Time or Pre-time is the time between card authorisation and the timer turning ON. This time is programmable between one minute and fifteen minutes.
